KingdomFM's music, as guided by Ofcom is "a spread of hits from across the years (60s onwards), mixed with easy listening, melodic recurrents and current chart music (although current chart music should not make up more than a quarter of the music output)".
Kingdom Radio Group bought Lanarkshire station Clan FM in 2004 and relaunched it has 107 The Edge. Ian Sewell, then Chief Exeutive of the Kingdom Radio Group, left shortly before 107 The Edge closed and was replaced by Kevin Brady. The Lanarkshire license was later sold due to debt. Kevin Brady, along with 107 The Edge Programme Controller Darren Stenhouse continued in the same positions at Fife's Kingdom FM.

Local news is presented on the hour between 6am and 7pm and at 8.30 and 5.30 for news headlines. Extended news bulletins are presented at 1pm and 6pm. News is taken from IRN at 10pm as well as a short local news bulletin. IRN is also taken at midnight and overnight on weekdays. At the weekend, local news is presented on the hour between 8am and 1pm, with IRN being taken overnight only.
