• The 1st track, "Tonight We Mean It" makes references to the popular apparel fiber Rayon, existentialism, and postmodernism.
• The 3rd track, "The Ice of Boston" references the Gladys Knight and the Pips song "Midnight Train to Georgia".
• The 4th track on the album, "Academy Award", is featured as a remix on the band's final non-studio album A People's History of the Dismemberment Plan [1]. This remix was actually created by close friend Cex for his Role Model album, released in 2001.
