Klaus Teuber (born 1952) is a well-known German designer of
board game s. He has won theSpiel des Jahres award four times, for "Settlers of Catan", "Barbarossa", "Drunter und Drüber" and "Adel Verpflichtet". He retired from his profession as adental technician to become a full-time game designer in1999 .As of 2007 , he lives in Darmstadt with his wife Claudia. They have two sons, Guido and Benny.
