November 27 and 28,2005 , a substantial outbreak oftornado es occurred in theCentral United States . A motorist was killed while struck by a tornado onI-40 inConway County, Arkansas , and a man was killed in Ripley County, Missouri when the top floor of a two-story home was torn off by an F2 tornado. Power was lost to several thousand homes, and some roads were temporarily impassable due to debris from the tornadoes.It was the fourth major outbreak of the unusually active month; the other three occurring on the November 6th, 12th and 15th.
