Arnold Petrus Maria Vanderlyde (born
January 24 ,1963 inSittard , Limburg) is a former boxer from theNetherlands , who participated in threeSummer Olympics and won three bronze medals in the heavyweight division (– 91 kg), starting in1984 inLos Angeles, California . He started boxing at age fifteen.He became European champion three times, and won the Dutch title seven times. Vanderlyde never became a pro. During his heights he was stopped several times by Cuban legend
