"Cycles" is an album by American singer Frank Sinatra, released in 1968.

Released just before Christmas in 1968, there was a ten month gap between this album and the release of "Francis A. & Edward K.", which was the longest period in Sinatra's Reprise years in which he did not commercially record music (barring his contributions to The Sinatra Family Wish You a Merry Christmas).

This was Sinatra's first fully-fledged pop/rock-oriented album, concentrating on a more orchestrated variation on the popular folk-rock of the late 1960s. The foundation of the arrangements on "Cycles" are guitars, bass, and drum kits, all played gently and unobtrusively; the strings are layered on top of the pop rhythm section.

Appropriately, Sinatra sang a variety of folk-rock oriented fare, including Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" and the Glen Campbell hits "Gentle on My Mind" and "By the Time I Get to Phoenix", as well as darker material with more of a majestic, classical sound, such as "Rain In My Heart" and "My Way of Life." The title song was released as a single, reaching #23 on the "Billboard" Hot 100 chart, while the album peaked at #18 on the "Billboard" 200 chart.
