Askerswell is a small village and civil parish in the West Dorset district of Dorset, England; situated 11 miles west of Dorchester. The local travel links are located 5 miles from the village to Maiden Newton railway station and 33 miles to Exeter International Airport. The main road running through the village is Hembury Road. The village has a population of 150 according to the 2001 Census.

The village is on the Asker Brook.
