Pye Dubois

Pye Dubois

Pye DuBois is a Canadian musical lyricist. He has worked with a number of bands, including Max Webster and Rush. drummer Neil Peart gives credit to DuBois on some Rush songs including the "quintessential Rush song" (as quoted by frontman Geddy Lee) "Tom Sawyer", along with "Force Ten". Pye DuBois also wrote the poem "Between the Sun and Moon", which inspired Peart to write many of lyrics for the album "Counterparts" including a song called Between Sun And Moon. He is also credited as a contributing composer on the song "Test for Echo."
