- Peter Matanle
Peter Matanle is an academic sociologist and lecturer in
Japanese studies in the School of East Asian Studies,University of Sheffield . He graduated inHistory from St. John's College,University of Cambridge , has an MA from theUniversity of Essex , and gained hisPhD from theUniversity of Sheffield in 2001. He is the founder and general editor of the "electronic journal of contemporary japanese studies " and is the author of several publications in the fields ofsociology and the sociology of work inJapan , including "Japanese Capitalism and Modernity in a Global Era: Refabricating Lifetime Employment Relations" (RoutledgeCurzon, 2003).External links
