Ninetyeast Ridge

The Ninetyeast Ridge, located in the Indian Ocean, is the world's longest and straightest undersea ridge. The ridge is named for its location along the 90th meridian, and is approximately 2,800 miles in length.

The scientific expedition Knox06, aboard the RV Roger Revelle is a site survey expedition from June to August, 2007. The project website is www.joilearning.org/sea90e
