Barzan, Iraq

Barzan is a town in Iraq and is the birthplace of Ahmed Barzani and Kurdish leader Mustafa Barzani. There is large extended family of several thousand people who all share the surname Barzani. They speak in Kurmancî dialect of Kurdish.
