Order of the Precious Star

The Order of the Precious Star (Pao Singh) was a decoration awarded by the Qing dynasty, also known as the Order of the Imperial Dragon. it was first bestowed in 1882; the purpose of the decoration was to reward foreigners for service to the Chinese Empire.[1][2]

The Letters Patent of the award was printed on yellow paper, with wording in Chinese and French, and the Imperial Seal of China in red, in the center of the page; the insignia was of gold with coral in the center, and two yellow silk tassles were appended to the letter. The reverse side included images of two dragons with Chinese lettering. [3]
