Anson Adams Mount IV (born February 25 1973) is an American actor who has appeared in both movies and television shows. Mount has also played Jim Steele on the short-lived NBC series, "Conviction" and appeared in the independent movie "Tully" with Julianne Nicholson, as the title character Tully Coates, a playboy whose ways are changed when he meets Ella Smalley (Nicholson), a friend of his brother. He was nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award for his performance in "Crossroads", although not by name. The nomination for "Worst Screen Couple" was for Britney Spears and "Whatever his name was".

Mount was born in Prospect Heights, IL to Anson Adams Mount II, a sportswriter, and Nancy Smith, a professional golfer. Anson also appeared as "the Undertaker", in the play, "The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch", and played the main role in the play, "Harvey", during his high school experience. He is a graduate of the University of the South and holds an MFA in acting from Columbia University.
