Serpukhovian

The Serpukhovian age is the last of three ages in the Mississippian Epoch of the Carboniferous Period. It lasted from 326.5±1.6 to 318.1±1.3 million years ago. It was preceded by the Visean age and followed by the Bashkirian age. This age is named after the town of Serpukhov (Се́рпухов) in Russia
