Bellingham School District is a partner district in the North Cascades and Olympic Science Partnership ( [http://ncosp.wwu.edu/ NCOSP] ) and as such has made a substantial commitment to science education for its students. Each school has a science teacher leader who has been trained in Science Education Reform pedagogy. The teacher leaders work within the district to select, align, and maintain a coherent and articulated science curriculum.
