Qasim ibn Muhammad ( _ar. قاسم بن محمد) (d. 108 AH The Four Imams by Muhammad Abu Zahrah, [http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/ABewley/ulama.html chapter on Imam Malik] ] or 106 AH [ [http://ibnalhyderabadee.wordpress.com/2006/10/07/imaams-of-the-sunnah-vanguards-of-islamic-aqeedah-taabieen-from-the-people-of-madeenah/ ibnalhyderabadee.wordpress.com] ] ) was the son of Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr, one of Ali's earliest supporters.

He is not to be confused with Muhammad's son Qasim ibn Muhammad.
