The Black Pearl (comics)

"The Black Pearl" is a five-issue comic book limited series published by Dark Horse Comics in 1996, written by Eric Johnson and Mark Hamill with artwork by Bruce Patterson and H.M. Baker. The story focuses on a troubled man who becomes a costumed "hero." At Comic Con '08 Mark Hamill announced that the film adaption will start shooting in the fall and that he will be directing.
