Unanderra is a Non-accessible CityRail railway station on the South Coast railway line. It aims to serve able bodies commuters and general passengers (defined as those not with prams, the elderly or people with disabilities) taking them to the suburb of Unanderra which is a southern suburb of Wollongong. The station marks the end of the double track South Coast line, and is a crossing point for trains.

The station has an island platform. Access to this platform is via a bridge crossing the railway lines that excludes non able bodied people from using this station. The station is served by about one train per hour for most of the time, with additional trains at weekday peak hours.

Platforms/Service

Unlike conventions of Cityrail stations, Platform 2 is for Sydney-bound, with trains normally operating on the right-hand side of the platform rather than the left. Platform 1 is on the western side while Platform 2 is on the eastern side.
