McHose is the first woman to serve the 24th District and was the youngest woman in the legislature. She is also part of the first father-daughter team to serve simultaneously in theNew Jersey Legislature , together with her father, State Senator Robert Littell. Assemblywoman McHose has served on the Franklin Borough Economic Development Committee since 1995. She was a member of the Sussex County 250th Anniversary Committee from 2002-2003. McHose was a legislative aide in Senator Robert Littell’s district office in Franklin for over seven years, where her duties included budget issues, constituent casework and press releases. During the
George H. W. Bush administration, from 1988-1992, McHose served theNational Endowment for the Humanities as Special Assistant to the Chair (working directly for ChairmanLynne Cheney ), and at theUnited States Department of the Treasury as Special Assistant to the General Counsel and Special Assistant to theTreasurer of the United States .McHose attended Simmons College and graduated with a B.S. from the
University of Maryland, College Park in Government and Politics.District 24
Each of the forty districts in the New Jersey Legislature has one representative in the
