A brief introduction about Kurdistan Independence Party

The party was formed on February 2, 2006 and started its activities as a nationalistic and independence promoting party. A group of Kurdish nationalists and patriotic from Kurdistan and exile decided to form the party.

Kurdistan Independence Party has democratic ambitions and dedicates all efforts to obtain independence for Kurdistani people in the Eastern part of Kurdistan. It promotes democracy, peace, freedom, sexual equality and human rights. KIP respects and values all distinguished perspectives and rejects all kinds of sexual, religious, cultural and ethnic discriminations.

KIP is founded on the basis of public dialogue and democratic principles; therefore it is committed to refer to Kurdish people in all sensitive cases and join them in taking fateful decisions.

Under the leadership of its interim presidency, KIP was able to grab hundreds of Kurdish nationalist individuals in and out of Eastern Kurdistan. It is committed to carry on its activities aiming sowing the seeds of a new generation who deeply believes in independence and liberation.

In the international level and diplomatic arena the KIP was succeeded to introduce itself as a Kurdistani nationalistic party. It has been invited to participate in several conferences in the Europe and America. Also, it has set good relations with many countries, global companies and international politicians and famous columnists. KIP endeavors constantly to internationalize the Kurdish question in the Eastern Kurdistan.

From KIP’s point of view Kurdistan is a unified homeland and the Kurds are a sole nation. Those lines crossing Kurdistani map is regarded as artificial borders and lack any kind of legacy. However, concerning the current circumstances of the area, and what is occurring in the international level, KIP is concentrating on the Eastern part of Kurdistan and pays most of its attentions to this part of the country which is occupied by Iranian Islamic regime.
