Rhosneigr

Rhosneigr is a seaside village, situated in the south-west of Anglesey, in north Wales. (population 745).

It is on the A4080 road that goes from Newborough to Engedi and is served by Rhosneigr railway station. From the village clock can be seen RAF Valley and Holyhead Mountain. It has three main beaches:
#'Cymyran Beach' that stretches from Rhosneigr to the inland sea near village of Rhoscolyn.
#'Pwll Cwch' or 'the Boating Pool' and the 'Town Beach' which is a small, rocky beach where boats and yachts stay overnight running into a sandy beach interspersed by rocks.
#'Traeth Llydan' or 'Broad Beach' which runs from the Barclodiad y Gawres ancient monument to Rhosneigr, ranging from pebble shores to pristine sandy shores.

The village contains holiday homes and bungalows, pubs, hotels, cafes, village hall (demolished 2007 to make way for new village hall), chapel, residential homes, school, fire station, convenience store and Post Office (Convenience Extra), pharmacy and a chippy (Bali Hi). The village is home to Anglesey Golf Club.

Recreational activities include: Swimming, surfing, wind surfing, kite surfing, shore and boat fishing, water skiing, golf and underwater diving. It is located on the Anglesey Coastal Path.
