Internet Brands

Internet Brands (nasdaq|INET) is a company based in El Segundo, California that operates online media, community, and e-commerce sites. The company was founded in 1998 as CarsDirect.com and, reflecting its growth and diversification, changed its name in 2005. Internet Brands was launched from the incubator Idealab. Recent acquisitions, in reverse chronological order, include the following:

*On August 8, 2008 Internet Brands purchased RealPolice.net, one of the largest Law Enforcement Resource with forums on the internet.
