Dutse — LGA and town — Coordinates: 11°44′0″N 9°17′25″E / 11.733333°N 9.29028°E Country Nigeria State Jigawa State Time zone WAT (UTC+1) Dutse is a city located in north central Nigeria. It is the capital city of Jigawa State. The Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic has its College of Business and Management Studies at Dutse.[1]
Geography
With an estimated population of 17,697 (2007),[2] Dutse is the fourth largest city in Jigawa State behind Hadejia (111,000), Gumel (43,000), and Birnin Kudu (27,000).
