Aviano High School

Aviano High School

Aviano High School is on the United States Air Force Base in Aviano, Italy. Located in the Pordenone province of the Friuli-Venezia-Gulia region, it has a student population of around 489 in grades 9-12.

Students are dependents of active duty military, civilian, and Department of Defense employees, although some students are children of foreigners willing to pay an annual tuition of approximately $22,000 per year.

Extracurricular activities include European champion women's volleyball and soccer teams, and a 1998 European champion football team. Men's volleyball ASIL champions from 1996 to 2000. The school's Academic Games team placed 3rd in the last European championship.
