- Granny Made me an Anarchist
"Granny Made me an Anarchist: General Franco, The Angry Brigade and Me" is the 2002 autobiography of well-known Scottish anarchist Stuart Christie. Christie recounts his radicalization through the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and Committee of 100, and his eventual imprisonment over his involvement with a plot to blow up the Fascist leader, Generalisimo Francisco Franco. Christie also deals with his alleged masterminding of the First of May Group's and Angry Brigade's bombing campaigns and subsequent time in prison while awaiting trial. Christie also described the role played by anarchists during the Spanish Civil War.
