Anne Ursu

Anne Ursu is an American author based in Cleveland, Ohio and Minneapolis, Minnesota, with four published books.

Her most recent book, The Siren Song, is the second in a trilogy, the [http://www.cronuschronicles.com Cronus Chronicles] (published by Atheneum), involving two cousins' adventures in the realms of Greek mythology. Her fifth book, The Immortal Flame, is slated for summer 2009.

Formerly, Ursu was a popular unofficial blogger for the Minnesota Twins baseball team. On that blog [http://www.bat-girl.com www.bat-girl.com] , Ursu adopted the persona of Batgirl. Batgirl used a unique idiom and developed a kind of site-specific Twins mythology that fans carry on. She announced her retirement from blogging on May 23, 2007.
