- Shaobing
Shaobing or huoshao is a baked, layered
flatbread withsesame on top, inChinese cuisine . They are usually made in two flavors: savoury or sweet. In theMandarin cuisine tradition, shaobing are served withhot pot ("huǒguō") in winter.Shaobing is also used as a bread with
youtiao (油條), a puffy fried dough, to make asandwich called "shāobǐng yóutiáo" (烧饼油條). This is usually eaten with hotsoy milk for breakfast and is highly popular in northernmainland China andTaiwan .Other
