"The Prince of Pennsylvania" is a 1988 comedic drama starring Keanu Reeves, Bonnie Bedelia, Fred Ward, and Amy Madigan. The Academy Award-nominated composer Thomas Newman wrote the music. It was filmed in and around Pittsburgh.
Plot
There's nothing wrong with the Marshetta family that a little felony can't cure. Rupert (Keanu Reeves) doesn't want to follow in his father's blue-collar footsteps, so he and his quirky friend kidnap his father (Fred Ward) for ransom, only nobody wants him back.
