Ivy Hill, Newark, New Jersey

Ivy Hill is a neighborhood in the West Ward of Newark, New Jersey. This section includes Ivy Hill Park Apartment complex, five buildings on 220-250 Mount Vernon Place and 5-85 Manor Drive.

It is the home of artistic talent of such varying disciplines as rapper Rah Digga and artist Andre de Krayewski, and early boyhood home of noted artist, Robert Florczak.

Ivy hill was annexed to Newark around 1925, after the city purchased the land from South Orange Township as it renamed itself Maplewood.
