Relations to the Melamine-Tainted Milk Scandal

In September 2008, the Koala's March cookies were recalled in both Macau and Hong Hong after Macau's Health Bureau found unsafe levels of the industrial chemical melamine in the product. Both major supermarket chains in Hong Kong, Wellcome and PARKnSHOP, promptly removed the cookies off their store shelves as a precautionary measure [cite news|url=http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2008/09/26/asia/AS-Hong-Kong-Tainted-Milk.php|title=Cookies in Macau found with unsafe melamine levels |date=2009-09-25|accessdate=2009-09-25] .
