Robert J. Beck (1961- ) is an educator and scholar of international law and international relations.

Born in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin and educated atMarquette University High School , Beck received an Honors B.A. "Magna Cum Laude" (Political Science, History, Latin),Phi Beta Kappa , fromMarquette University in 1983. He received MA (1985) and PhD (1989, with distinction) degrees in International Politics fromGeorgetown University 's Department of Government.Academic career

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee , he has served UWM's Center for International Education since 2000 and teaches in the Global Studies degree program.From 1998-2000, Dr. Beck served as Director of
Tufts University 's Center for Teaching Excellence.
