AWOK's videos have been featured on Collegehumor.com, Bestweekever.tv, and Myspace.com.Cast members include Nate Kushner, Dan Hopper, and Mike Still. Former members include Devin T. Quin, Allysha Powanda, and Erica Harsch.
In March 2005, the group's blog received some attention when member Nate Kushner published transcripts of chats he had with an undergraduate college student he renamed "Laura K. Krishna", who solicited him to write a college paper for her about "something Hindu". Kushner wrote a paper that was obviously falsified and plagiarized and set her up to get caught by her school.
