Lone Hill Middle School, in
San Dimas, California , is a public school, part of the Bonita Unified School District. It's attended by approximately 1000 students in grades 6 through 8. all of whom which must follow the standards set by the California State Board of Education. All students must attend 6 classes each day: English, Physical Education, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and an extra-curricular subject.The school mascot is the Lone Hill Lion.
Modernization Construction Work
Lone Hill Middle School is, as of mid-December, 2006, undergoing major restoration and improvements officially termed "Modernization". The entire school, from classrooms to administrative offices, has been relocated to approximately 20 portable classroom buildings placed in areas usually dedicated to Physical Education activities. The school building is to have major improvements, with construction continuing through most of 2007. According to some teachers, it looks quite nice. It is expected for classes to be back in the school building in November 2007. But the students and teachers were all moved in by the first week of January.
