Yung Kee (zh-t|t=鏞記, full name 香港鏞記酒家) is a restaurant located on Wellington Street in the Central District of Hong Kong. Founded by Kam Shui Fai in 1942 from a "dai pai dong" streetside café, it has developed into a Hong Kong institution centered around their world-renowned [http://www.yungkee.com.hk/award/award-e.html] roasted meats, most notably the roast goose (燒鵝) and chinese BBQ pork (char siu or 叉燒). While Yung Kee has both dine-in and take away options, with a premium being charged for dining in. The quality and consistency are mostly uniform according to critics, but many locals claim a continuing decline in both food quality and service standards over the past decade or two.
