Hippios

Hippios may be:
*Kolonos Hippios, a deme of Attica
* a short running distance in Ancient Greece. It was 4 stades (800 ancient feet) long. This is approximately 250 meters, which is probably similar to the 200 meter dash in the modern Olympics. [http://minbar.cs.dartmouth.edu/greecom/olympics/glossary/]
