KVVA-FM (107.1 FM, "Super Estrella 107") is a radio station licensed to Apache Junction, Arizona broadcasting a Spanish Top 40 music format. The station serves the Phoenix area. The station, owned by Entravision Communications, is part of the "Super Estrella" satellite network.

History

KVVA-FM was originally KSTM and had a Rock format prior to its switch to Spanish Top 40 in 1987.

In 2000, Entravision acquired both KVVA and KMJK and combined the two into a simulcast for its "Radio Romántica" format. In 2005 they would flip to its current format.

Note

KVVA was also the former callsign for KMVP, an unrelated AM station in Phoenix. [cite web |url=http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/call_hist.pl?Facility_id=1326&Callsign=KMVP |work=FCC Media Bureau CDBS Public Access Database |title=Call Sign History]
