He appeared in oneNational Hockey League game in his career, with Detroit during the 1999–2000 season.Young spent his entire career, with the exception of that one NHL game, in the minor leagues. The final three seasons of his career were spent with his hometown Anchorage/Alaska Aces in the WCHL and
