Finnish Literature Society

Finnish Literature Society

The Finnish Literature Society (Finnish: "Suomalaisen Kirjallisuuden Seura" or SKS) was founded in 1831 to promote literature written in Finnish. Among its first publications was the "Kalevala", the Finnish national epic.
