Garah, New South Wales

Garah is a location in Moree Plains Shire, New South Wales, Australia.

It is located 51 kilometres northwest of Moree on the Carnarvon Highway. Local activities include agriculture. It is on the Mungindi railway line between Mungindi and Moree.

This small town consists of a post office, primary school, police station, tennis courts, grain silo, CWA hall, town hall, pre-school, corner shop, pub, race course, small petrol bowser, Catholic church and a Presbyterian Church.

Garah is also said to have the oldest running picnic races in Australia.
