The "Yale Review" is the self-proclaimed oldest literary quarterly in the
United States . It is published byYale University .It was founded originally in 1819 as "The Christian Spectator", and renamed the "Yale Review" in 1911 by its new editor, Wilbur Cross. Cross remained the editor for thirty years, throughout the magazine's heyday. Contributors during this period, according to the "Review's" website, included
