Roman Catholic Diocese of Serrinha

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Serrinha (Latin: Dioecesis Serrignensis) is located in the Brazilian state of Bahia. It is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Feira de Santana.

The diocese covers an area of 17,169 km². As of 2004, of the 500,000 citizen 467,742 are member of the Catholic Church. It is divided into 16 parishes, having 16 priests altogether.

The diocese was erected on September 21, 2005 with territory taken from the archdiocese of Feira de Santana and the diocese of Paulo Afonso. Ottorino Assolari, C.S.F. was appointed as the first bishop of the diocese.
