Edward John Vosberg (born
September 28 1961 inTucson, Arizona ) is a former left-handedrelief pitcher inMajor League Baseball who had a 10-year career (1986, 1990, 1994-1997, 1999-2002). He played with theSan Diego Padres ,San Francisco Giants ,Florida Marlins ,Arizona Diamondbacks ,Philadelphia Phillies and Montreal Expos in theNational League , and the Oakland A's and Texas Rangers in theAmerican League .He is one of only two players (
Jason Varitek is the other) to play in theLittle League World Series , theCollege World Series , and theMajor League World Series . He played first base forTucson, Arizona in the1973 Little League World Series final. He pitched aone-hitter in the semifinals againstBirmingham, Michigan . He played for the1980 NCAA championUniversity of Arizona . He then played for theFlorida Marlins in the1997 Major League World Series.He is currently playing with the Guasave Cotton Pickers, in the Pacific Mexican League (winter baseball).
