Rand, West Virginia

Rand is an unincorporated community on the Kanawha River in Kanawha County, West Virginia, USA. It is surrounded by the communities of Malden and DuPont City.

In recent years, Rand has has experienced a rise in crime including drugs and prostitution.

Rand is best known as the hometown of the current New England Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss.

Another notable native of Rand is former Chicago Bears player Bobbie Howard.

The community of Rand was previously named Levi after Plus Rand Levi.
