Richard N. Longenecker is a prominent New Testament scholar. For many years he taught at
Wycliffe College in theUniversity of Toronto . More recently he was Distinguished Professor of New Testament atMcMaster Divinity College . He is now retired. His education includes B.A. and M.A. degrees fromWheaton College , and a Ph.D. from New College in theUniversity of Edinburgh . He was also honored with a D.D. from Wycliffe College. Longenecker is the author of numerous books and over fifty publishedarticles in scholarly and professional journals. He is presently completing a major commentary on Paul's Epistle to the Romans, to be published by Eerdmans in the "New International Greek Testament Commentary" series.Works
