Proposed creation of an Eco-town
Leicester Mercury recently reported that plans were set forward to destroy the current airport and build a new eco-town. Since Leicester already has a larger airport,
East Midlands Airport (which is shared betweenLeicester ,Nottingham andDerby ), this airport has often only been used for a flying club. If the proposer offers a large enough sum, only then would this airport be destroyed. [cite news
