The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Championship is a professional wrestling championship. The title is the original world championship of World Wrestling Entertainment. Currently, it is on the SmackDown brand of World Wrestling Entertainment. This is a list of WWE Championship reigns by length.
The current record holder is Bruno Sammartino, who held the championship for 2,803 days, spanning nearly eight years from 1963 to 1971. Sammartino also holds the record for longest combined reign. His two combined Championship reigns equalled 4,040 days, nearly twice as long as the second place competitor Hulk Hogan's six championship reigns.
