- Eastleigh to Romsey Line
The Eastleigh-Romsey Line is the railway line from
Eastleigh toRomsey inHampshire ,England . At Eastleigh, trains join theSouth Western Main Line for onward travel toSouthampton andTotton . At Romsey most trains terminate.The line is not electrified.
History
The line was opened by the
LSWR in 1847 [cite web

Services and stations on this line are operated by
South West Trains . It has an hourly service in each direction which runs a 'figure of six' route fromRomsey toSalisbury , running from Romsey viaEastleigh andSouthampton before re-visiting Romsey and continuing to Salisbury. The service is currently operated by class 158 DMUs [cite web
