Peter Vaghi is an American Roman Catholic
priest and formerlawyer associated with several noted Americanjurist s. He ispriest of theChurch of the Little Flower (which was named after SaintThérèse de Lisieux and is part of the Archdiocese of Washington) in Bethesda,Maryland . Washington, D.C. in 1948. After attending theCollege of the Holy Cross , he was awarded aFulbright Scholarship to attend theUniversity of Salzburg inAustria . Back in America, he attended theUniversity of Virginia Law School and worked as anattorney and staffer to SenatorPete Domenici in Washington, D.C., before attending theGregorian University inRome ,Italy to become a priest. He was ordained in1985 , and designated a "Prelate of Honor" (entitling him to be addressed and referred to as "monsignor") byPope John Paul II in1995 .Described as "thoughtful, worldly and cultured" by "
