Teversham is a very small village in Cambridgeshirelocated roughly convert|2|mi|0 from Fulbourn, and is roughly convert|5|mi|0 from Cambridge. It is a small village compared to neighbouring ones. Its school is criticised for being at a frustrating corner, hence a large cause of traffic. Also, circa 2003, speed bumps and other car speeding equipment were introduced, helping to stop the constant speeding through the village, as Teversham is essentially just one large road.

Population

The population of Teversham is estimated to be around 2,050, according to the Cambridgeshire Survey in 2006. It is a significant growth from 1957, when the population was a minuscule 780, according to surveys at the time. Around 2005, a housing development took place, which greatly increased the population in time for the survey.

Facilities

Teversham is favoured for its clean public toilets and general quietnessFact|date=July 2008Who|date=July 2008. It has a lovely pub, the Rose & Crown, situated in the main intersection on the High Street. Teversham is criticised for its lack of shops and other useful facilities, which only became worse as of 2002 when the Post Office closed down, causing an uproar from the Teversham Community of Old-Age Pensioners and Mothers (TCOAPM). The church is considered 'ancient', dating back to an estimated 910, however, the exact year is undecided.

Appearance

Teversham is, as many people say, a 'typical English village', as shown by its wonderful community and sports facilities. Cricket is regularly played.
