When StartCity multi-screen multiplex came into arena, these had to giveup in popularity. Himat is already renovated into a well-deserved form of a shopping complex. Neelam is still doing a considerable business due to its prime location, where as Ambar and Vaishali with a lost prestige, are still running regularly, but there have been rumours about the Ambar Cinema that it is going to follow the bright Fate of Himat Cinema since years, nothing happens.
